"Facebook for Genealogists" will discuss effective strategies for using Facebook as a tool to help with family history research. Facebook does not replace any traditional genealogical techniques, but it can help researchers make contact with others, learn about resources and records that are available, get assistance from others on research questions and problems, help locate living family members, and sometimes help track down DNA matches. It's possible to use Facebook for your genealogical research and not get bogged down in political posts and other content that can be a huge waste of time.
