Kentucky Three Day Research Trip

The WVGS Education Committee is planning a three-day research trip to Kentucky in November. The dates are November 9th, 10th and 11th.  Transportation will be arranged by Karen Juson.

Located in downtown Frankfort, Ky., the Kentucky Historical Society history campus includes the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History, the Old State Capitol and the Kentucky Military History Museum.

Regular Schedule:
Wednesdays: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. EST
Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Special Collections manages five collection programs including manuscripts, maps, oral history, photographs and rare books. These collections document most of the major issues in the commonwealth's past, as well as the day-to-day lives of Kentuckians.
